Platform Engineer

Responsible for further developing and standardising the platform around the B2B commerce platform, building on the previously established domain-oriented, API-driven and distributed .NET architecture.

• Platform context: around 1,800 concurrent users, 125 requests per second, more than 10 million API calls per day and 100–300 container workloads.
• Modernised the platform to .NET 10 and .NET Aspire.
• Introduced and standardised OpenTelemetry (OTel) for observability across services and platform components.
• Migrated cloud infrastructure to Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, including the transition from one cloud to another.
• Develop and standardise reusable platform and infrastructure components for predictable deployments.
• Develop agentic workflows with automated quality gates and security controls.
• Migrated the Azure network architecture to a private hub-and-spoke topology within an Azure landing zone, with central routing and controlled connections between workloads and platform services.

Technical Operations Manager

Led and supported the development team, including nearshore and offshore colleagues, in close collaboration with the product owner and architect. This temporary transition role bridged senior development and the move into platform engineering.

Senior .NET Developer

Responsible for the technical development and modernisation of the central B2B platform for more than nine years. Developed the application architecture and further built out the CI/CD and infrastructure automation.

• Designed and developed the platform architecture for the transformation of the B2B commerce platform into a domain-oriented, API-driven and distributed architecture.
• Modernised the application step by step from Classic ASP to ASP.NET.
• Transformed the application into an ASP.NET API with a decoupled frontend.
• Scaled the infrastructure from a single server to a load-balanced multi-server environment.
• Migrated the platform to a distributed .NET microservices architecture on Azure Kubernetes Service.
• Replaced manual releases with repeatable and automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Introduced RabbitMQ for asynchronous communication between services and Redis for caching and fast data exchange.
• Automated deployment and reduced average lead time to around five minutes without downtime.

Application Developer

Continued the role after the acquisition and renaming of ACF Software to Branch Solutions, combining custom development with consultancy assignments. From 2012, worked as a consultant at Accell before joining directly in September 2014.

Application Developer

Developed custom applications for small and medium-sized businesses alongside a part-time degree. Projects included administration software for home-care organisations, with functionality for planning, external integrations and financial administration.
